......Take the steep path
down, and when it divides, take the left, north fork heading towards the left
hand end of the lake. The right path
is worth exploring too if you have time - it takes you to Romioi Vrisi, a
natural spring that emerges from finely layered beds of limestone. In winter this can be a frozen waterfall; in
summer it may be completely dry. The path to the south (right) goes on to
Gamila, or through to Meggas Lakkos, or right through to civilisation at
Tsepelovo....
